Description

Widening is an urban area dedicated to new buildings on the outskirts of a population, usually through urban planning. It also defines the extension of the city. They would be developed through a flat grid or orthogonal plane. In many cases this growth mesh, designed and conceived to achieve a healthy city by and for the bourgeoisie, distorted over time by speculation and as the city continued to grow, filled in all the urban fabric of new buildings and phased green spaces.
