Netmaps has launched an exclusive product for the Town Halls of Spain, in order to raise the level of digitalization of municipal information bases; which are a fundamental source for the daily work of many citizens. The maps created in EPS or DXF vector formats arise due to the wide demand from the world of Public Institutions; “every day we receive calls from Local Entities requesting information about Digital Urban Maps,” comments from the Commercial Direction of Maps. The product, created from the Netmaps Map Guides Division, comes with a special price and very tight timings, it is offered under standard characteristics that also allow for direct use on the Internet through flash technology. To date, Netmaps has already covered, in just one year, more than 50 Town Halls in several Autonomous Communities of Spain and with this initiative, they want to reach over 250 before the end of the year. The initiative has been enthusiastically welcomed by various contacted local administrations.
